Emailing from the grade book

Mass Emailing from the Grade Book

To send a mass email from your grade book, open the grade book and go to Tools…Mass Email.

  1. Choose the students to receive the email or click the “All” checkbox to mark all students.   

  1. Select if you wish to send the email to parents, students or both

  2. Select a template if you have one already created

    • If you don’t have a template, you can simply type the body of the email

  3. You may attach a file if needed

  4. Select whether you want this email to be included in the student’s record

    • by default the email is sent but not saved to the student’s record

  5. Enter the subject and body of the email

  6. Once you click “OK”, the email will be sent

Individual Emails from the Grade Book

To send an email to an individual student and/or their parents

  1. Touch on the triangle by the student’s name to expand the student

  2. Touch the mail icon

 

  1. Select if you wish to send the email to parents, students or both

  2. you may enter addresses in the carbon copy (cc) and blind carbon copy (bcc) if appropriate

  3. Enter a Subject for the email

  4. Select a template if you have one already created

    • If you don’t have a template, you can simply type the body of the email

  5. You may attach a file if needed

  6. Touch Send when you are ready to send the email

Emails sent individually are automatically part of the students record.
