Moving Students for Scheduling
Before or during scheduling, you may wish to move in your incoming students from another building. This process allows you to enter course requests and prepare schedules for these new students. You do not need to move your current students because they are already available for scheduling. This process is just for incoming students.
To move your incoming students, go to “Guidance…Next Year…Request Courses”. This view will list all the students currently in your database, along with their current grade level and school year.
Touch the “Get Students” button.
On this popup, choose the school and grade level of students that you wish to move over. Then touch “Get Students”.
The students will then be in your database for scheduling purposes; however, they will be listed as Inactive students.
They will also remain active in their current database.
This process can be run several times to capture any new students that need to be moved. It will not recopy over students who are already in your building.
