Inactive Courses
When you have courses in your master list that you do not currently offer, you can mark those courses as inactive. This will remove those courses as options when entering Four Year Plans and Course Requests. However, those courses will still be available when reviewing a student’s history and when adding courses to grade history.
To mark a course as inactive, open the course and touch Edit. Then expand the “Scheduling Options” area by touching the arrow for that section. This will open up an option to checkmark the course as “inactive”. Check that option and then save the course.
Once the course is marked as inactive, it will no longer show in the master course list. If you need to see the inactive courses, simply check the “Show Inactive Courses” box at the top of the Courses and Classes view. The view will then be populated to include the inactive courses.
To hide the inactive courses again, uncheck the box for “Show Inactive Courses”.
