Honor Roll

  1. The settings that Honor Roll will be based on are located on the Award Profile in Office Use…System Settings.

a. “Reviewing Each Class”means that every class the student has must meet the honor roll cutoffs in order for the student to be included on the honor roll.

b. “By GPA”means that the grade points for each class for a student will be averaged together into a GPA.  This GPA must then meet the honor roll cutoffs.

c. The grade points used as the cutoffs for Honor Roll correspond with the grade points listed on the grading scales.

d. The Award Profile will allow you to enter up to three different Honor Rolls at one time.  You can change the settings on the Awards Profile and then rerun the Honor Roll based on the updated cutoffs.  This works well if you have several different Honor Roll awards.

  1. Once the Award Profile is set up, Honor Roll is run in the Guidance…Report Cards view by touching the “Awards”button.  Then select “Honor Roll”and choose the term and grading period to review.

  1. This will create a report with the students who have met each honor roll for the specified term and grading period.

You can turn on the option to include the GPA in the report if you want the GPA listed for an internal report

You can also change the settings to run reports for different needs.

For accurate honor roll lists, make sure you have updated your system profile to the new term/grading period. The term/grading period should be updated on the first day of each new grading period
