Checking Grade Book Preferences

Before teachers begin to finalize their grade books, you should check the grade book settings to ensure that everything has been set up correctly.
To do this, go to Classroom… Check Preferences to look at the preferences they have selected on each grade book. In this view, you will see the grading scale, grading method and finalized status for each grade book.
Use the filter at the top to narrow down the view to a particular grading scale, teacher, grading method, etc.
If there are errors in the settings for a grade book, open the grade book and touch Tools…Change Preferences. You may then correct the setting.
Make sure to pick future grading periods to review as sometimes teachers will set up a grade book for a future grading period rather than the current
