Attendance Awards

The settings that Perfect Attendance will be based on are located on the Award Profile in Office Use…System Settings.  For Perfect attendance, you can select whether you wish for this to review Daily or Period attendance.

If you select “Daily”, it will look for the total absences and tardies for the grading period and see if the student meets the criteria.

If you select “Period”, it will look to see if the student meets the criteria for any period.

Enter the number of absences and tardies you are using as the cutoff.

The Award Profile will allow you to enter cutoffs for one perfect attendance report at a time.  You can change the settings on the Award Profile and then rerun the Perfect Attendance based on the updated cutoffs.  This works well if you have several different Attendance awards.

Once the Award Profile is set up, Perfect Attendance is run in the Guidance…Report Cards view by touching the “Awards”button.  Then select “Attendance”and choose the term and grading period to review.

This will create a report with the students who meet the Attendance awards criteria for the specified term and grading period.

At the elementary the grading periods will be 1, 2, 3, and 4. At a secondary building the grading periods will start over at 1 each term.
